Are you a startup founder, a designer, a product manager at a bigger company? Have you built something or in the early stages of prototyping? If yes, this session will introduce you to fun, rapid, iterative methods of testing your concept, prototype or product. Through a series of 2 min, 5 min and 10 min exercises and games, we’ll help identify the value of what you’ve built for people. We’ll explore what it means to experience test your product, taking a holistic approach to validating what you’re doing.
We’ll use Design Research methods, participatory design methods & Game-storming techniques to help you get useful insights about your prototype / product.
All participants should bring in something they’ve built, sketched, thought of - some representation of their concept or idea for testing.
If you’re building something with a very specific / niche consumer target, this session might not work for you (the chances of finding them in the workshop is probably low). But if you’re building something that most people use or has a high chance of being represented in a public group that would attend this conference, then go ahead and bring your product / concept in and we’ll play some games while helping you gain some valuable insights.
